This was inspired by a pop song by ?Mario? That I heard on the radio. Please enjoy

And it's sitting there.
That painting.
With it's worn chocolate frame,
The curtains of the subject's eye lids presenting a view
Into a soul
Used for temporary boarding.
He finds so many homes,
It's sickening,
How one can creep in and out of so many masterpieces,
See them burn in self pity,
But not 'give a shit'.
He's the biggest piece of work of them all,
Really.
What a deception, master of disguises.
Those facades so resented only
after the inevitable heart break.
Still he can affect the most sturdy,
He seeps into their blood, their bones, their hearts, their souls,
Makes them feel beautiful,
Critiques them positively,
But behind their backs calls them amateur.
You will always be a masterpiece.
Don't let him rework you.
