Luna Hoon

If the world was to crumble,

or the moon fell from the sky,

do you think that would be worse

than you being my guy?

There are so many right things

that are being overlooked

because the wrong things outweigh them –

but that doesn’t stop me being hooked.

You’re a luna hoon but I don’t care;

I still want you. I want you there

to laugh, to love, to prove you wrong;

we’ve both been luna hoons all along.

We’re so alike, but not too much.

The age gap is a bitch.

Throw your morals out the window

and there will not be a glitch.

Maybe we’re wrong and shouldn’t be –

I wouldn’t have a clue –

but if we’re wrong, I don’t care.

It doesn’t stop me wanting you.

You’re a luna hoon and will always be

but it doesn’t matter, it’s fine with me.

I don’t care what you think, don’t care what you say.

I see in your eyes that you’ll love me always.
