Here we lie
As lion and the lamb
Getting lost in our own mysteries
And all the while taking fruit from the tree
Be sure to take a bite out of the apple for me

Obsessions, Depression
And a dose of fascination
Is enough to get me thinking
Of all the times you contradict yourself

Car crashes, sun flashes
And not to mention beach bashes
Only settles the clear fact:
Somewhere down this straight line I’ve cracked

Yet here we lie
As lion and the lamb
Getting lost in our own mysteries
And all the while taking fruit from the tree
Be sure to take a bit out of the apple for me

Confessions, Affection
Some disproval from the family
Pretending not to see the dangers
We provide for ourselves

Maybe it all makes more sense
When you’re trapped in an enchanted forest
Maybe it all makes more sense
When I’m lost in your sweet embrace

Or maybe it doesn’t have to make sense

Cause here we lie
As lion and the lamb
Getting lost in our own mysteries
And all the while taking fruit from the tree
Be sure to take a bite out of the apple for me

Cause here we lie
As lion and the lamb
Getting lost in our own mysteries
And all the while taking fruit from the tree
Be sure to take a bite out of the apple for me

We’ll always lie
As lion and the lamb
Consumed by our own intimacies
And all this while I craved for fruit from the tree
Let’s take a bite out of the apple and see.
