IN MY RooM Written by: Leagon

Empty champions of a thousand memories. They hold onto those things you long to forget. Begging to no longer recall your past, jealous of amnesiacs, they don’t know how lucky they are. Kill me to make it stop memories cause only pain. Forget. Falling into forgotten times, plunging into ever lasting pain. Screaming in hollow trees of never ending doubt. Fleeing from the world cause it will never get better. Not now, not ever.

Brain damaged.

Idiotic simpleton.

Kill their compelling minds slowly. Oh yes, make them feel what life is really about. That is what I hear, oozing through the walls like dampness that causes illnesses and eventually causes death. Kicked in the corner, down in the dirt, you say that’s where I belong. The world is dragging me down and no one gives a damn. That’s okay, I’ll be dead soon anyway. Godless and unable to be reached by Christ, out of all their reach. In this dark corner I will sit, hunkered in a pool of my own tears and blood. I will soon be forgotten as I rot alone in the dark.

You think this place I lie in is in some far off asylum? You think it’s a place far away from all life? No. It’s right here in my house. Just like yours, to everyone, it’s simply a room where a normal human lives. But to me, it’s a prison of never ending loneliness and pain; sorrow hangs in the air and blood drips from the walls. I welcome you darkness, in this room and in my mind.
