As if they know the pain,

The sorrow,

The desperation.

But they don’t know It.

They act as if they feel.

As if they feel the anger,

The weakness,

The inevitability.

But they don’t feel It.

They act as if they don’t see.

As if they don’t see the strain,

The frustration,

The depression.

But they do to see It.

They act as if they care.

As if they care about the pain,

About the sorrow and the desperation,

About the anger and the weakness,

About the inevitability and the strain,

About the frustration and the depression.

But they only act like they care.
