When Morning Comes

When morning comes I’ll be there
perched still beside your bed,
brushing away cobwebs
of dreams clinging to your head.

-

When morning comes I’ll be there
to chase the stars away;
to pull you safely from the depths
of the fading Milky Way.

-

When morning comes I’ll kiss you;
steal the morning from your breath.
I’ll soothe the fear of nightmares
filled with rotting, darkened death.

-

When morning comes I’ll hold you.
I’ll brush your hair from your face;
put my hand over your chest
and feel your heart begin to race.

-

When morning comes I’ll be there.
I’ll bring you back to life.
When evening comes I’ll be there
when you’re murdered by the night.

-

AN: I'd been bored during class.

First post was an accident. SORRY!!
