Heal’ghymn is a language I made up, spoken by the Killeen’ghymn in the a number of Crestilian Tales. Later on, after the fall of Killeen’ghymn, heal’ghymn went on to become the Underground Code and even survived through the Era of Mist out at sea with the Kru. If you read a lot, you’ll find heal’ghymn scattered about all through the Crestilian Tales, but don’t be discouraged. If it’s integral to the plot, I’ll tell you what they’re saying. I just created this dictionary for all the anal retentive people who want to know what’s going on 100 of the time. And no, I’m not going to go through and translate each phrase I use. If you want to know, do it yourself. I already told you that I’ll tell you the important stuff. I’ll try to get up all the stuff I’ve used so far, but don’t count on much more than that for quite some time. There are a lot of words, after all, and I’m only one kid.

Grammar: Heal’ghymn isn’t spoken in quite the same way as English is. The major difference you’re going to find is that adverbs and adjectives go at the beginning of sentences and verbs at the end, unless it’s a question, in which case the subject comes first and the question word goes at the end. So, instead of saying “It is blue,” a Kille’ghymn would say “Blue it is,” and instead of saying “How are you?” a Kille’ghymn would say “You are how?” Other than that, it’s pretty close grammatically and structurally to English, I guess.
