This is the Last Time

How dumb I must sound

To you.

How horrible my voice must sound

In your perfect ears.

You, who isn’t dumb at all.

Unlike me.

You, who won all those things every year.

Every award you took, you went away.

I didn’t miss you.

We’re nothing alike,

Not like how we all used to be.

We grew up and you became perfect.

And we didn’t miss you.

Because you didn’t miss

Us.

But here I am, after all this time,

Standing in front of you,

Asking you what’s your problem with me.

You say nothing, but I don’t believe you.

Not for a minute.

Clearly something in me has changed that

You don’t like.

I know I’m not as smart as you.

I know I can’t keep up like that.

But I’m not blind, and I’m not stupid.

It hurts that you despise me.

Why can’t you leave me alone?

Like I said, we didn’t miss you.

You’re the one who misses us.
