The cackling bonfire

It’s flames licking the dark sky

Will it hurt if I jumped into them?

The black sea

It’s colour imitating the depth

Will it hurt if I jump in?

The sharp knife

Just a prick can draw blood

Will it hurt if I fell on it?

The oncoming car

It’s speed phenomenal

Will it hurt if I stepped in front of it?
