My Vast Winter Wonderland
Here I am in My Vast Winter Wonderland
Pure, white snow lying where I stand
Soft and gentle snow like a royal carpet
Given just because- without any regret
My tongue catches a snowflake so sweet
Looking around, ashamed, my hearts skips a beat
Tall, powerful trees as far as the eye can see
Like loyal guardians watching over me
The needles on their braches covered in white
Heavy with snow, taking all of their might
But the snow does not seem to weigh them down
As they forever reach heavenward bound…
Everything is so perfect in this place
Yet… there is something leaving an empty space
Something nothing about I can do
And that something missing is you
So I will wait and collect snow where I stand
Until you find me in Our Vast Winter Wonderland
