Lost in the music, lost touch

In-fact senses have been turned backwards

And flipped around

Sight to smell a touch of taste

Hell’s rising up

But we’re too blind to hear

We stand around waiting

Always waiting

Like the worlds gonna change

But the fact of the matter is

We got two more years

And that’s gonna set us back five more

We can’t do anything but we can start planning

Before this world goes array

What happened to life and liberty

It went out the window

With the founding fathers

And the forsaken constitution

We’ve heard respect the elders

But respect comes equally

And the young should be cherished

The young aren’t gonna have a world to live in

So tell me again

What is there to respect?

We’re not teaching anything but ruthlessness

Hatred and fear rule, we lost love and trust

We killed it, the same way we killed freedom

Democracy lost its will

The bill of rights gone wrong; all caused by the jokers

Who live in the white castle on the sand.
