Author's Note: I'm not very proud of this poem. The whole thing seems kind of ... primary school ... or something - the way it all rhymes. I don't know.

XxX

I miss the way you would sit with me,

All snug and warm by the fire.

I miss the way you made me feel,

Like I could never be higher.

X

I miss the way you looked at me,

You made me feel so tall.

I miss the way you held my hand,

When I threatened to fall.

X

I miss the way you smiled at me,

The way you held me tight.

I miss the way you tried for me,

And never gave up the fight.

X

I miss the way you let me cry,

When you told me stories of the past.

I miss the way you laughed with me,

Your beauty unsurpassed.

X

I miss the way you talked to me,

You let me keep my pride.

Most of all I miss the way,

You said you’d never lie.

XxX

Author's Note: Please review. I'd really love to know what people think of this - even if you think it's horrible.
