Nightmare

Heart pounding,

Blood rushing,

My head is spinning.

Whispers,

Murmurs,

Prophesies of doom

Disorientation,

Cold then hot,

Flashes in my vision,

Real or not?

Fear rising within,

Don’t know what,

Or who to trust,

Anymore.

Cold sweat crawling over my skin.

These fearful ramblings,

Confused mutterings,

Unsure.
