A lake in the dawn

Rusty leaves in the air

Haunting smoke on the water

Dew drops in her hair

Blue mist like a pillow

Lightly cushioning her walk

She stops a singing bird

Admiring its stalk

Tiny sprinkles of sand

Embedding into her toes

Threatening clouds from above

Cry, raining down on her love

So dark & so damp

Such a frightening sight

Like a ghost drinking blood

Fleeing, beckoning the night

A rose in her hand

Ivory, shaking, and blue

She knows all your feelings

Much better than you

You don't long for her

And can't love her

Won't touch her as soft

As she wants & she yearns

but she hates when you scoff

So goodbye & farewell

It won't be long now

She'll be gone

No more worries

As the lake starts to swell

Plunging, deep, deep

In with no sound

Into the ethereal

She'll never be found

Bubbles catch her like glitter

She writhes and she gasps

Blue covering her eyes

Just as someone had hit her

Down to the bottom

like a fairy in dust

Say goodbye to her, lover

She needed more than just lust
