You can't go back in time
not physically
not emotionally
but what do I do?
With all these memories
of embaressment, sadness, anger
but over the horizon
some heavenly moments flood back
Laughter, jokes, conversations
which I fear will be lost forever

There's no use regretting
or despairing for
those days through rose-tinted glass
I'll take all the treasure
of those long five years
remember the experiences
whether gold or silver
and an overwhelming stage of life

I sometimes longed for the day
when we would all move on
but standing at the edge
I cling to the slippery cliff
It's sad but a relief
to take a new path
but we'll meet new people
and laugh with them
and have more conversations
and even more memories
