There’s NO hidden message in this rant
But for once there’s a point!

I’m fourteen
I’m immature
I’m pointless
It’s who I am
I’m the smartest
When it comes to geography

I live in a little town
In the middle of nowhere Louisiana
It’s full of morons
But their way of life
Is the smartest I have ever seen
They don’t know where Kuwait is
They don’t get the point of Algebra
They’ll probably never leave this town
But they know how to live happily
Not so serious
Not so glum

Sophistication might be useful
But it isn’t fun
Smart words and complicated phrases
Don’t make me smile
Why is the idea of a whale,
Swimming in alphabet soup,
So hard to understand?
But you know all the scientific theories
You know what the capital of Antarctica is

They know where the best place to go mud-riding is
They know that Algebra is stupid
And so is French
They know all they think they need to
And they’re happy

I know I’m smarter than them now
I’m getting smarter
I’m going places
I’m going to change
And I can always trust
That if I ever return
They’ll be the same
And happy as ever

So I will scream as loud as I have to!
I’ll type as big as I have to!
With simple!
Small words
So YOU can understand
The stupid people
Will always be
SMARTER, BETTER, and HAPPIER
Than anyone
No matter how big the words
