Into the darkness and out of the light.
Seeing things that were never meant to be seen.

Wondering where,
wondering when,
wondering why…….

Seeing in the distance,
the warm glow of love,
Wanting to be a part of it,
not finding a way past
the wall erected.

Needing someone to find a way in.
Needing someone to feel the way I do.
Needing someone to need me outside…….

A step in the right direction,
the glow is getting stronger,

the light fills my head,

The darkness is comfort,
the darkness is what I know,
what I live,
what I have mastered,

It’s a blanket from the cold,
a wall from those who hurt me,
make me hurt…

Anger is darkness.

I like the moments when we are all together,
when we laugh,
and are happy…
