You stand there and tell me
What you think I should say
You shove down my throat
Your opinions, your reasoning…
Your excuses.
You try to convince me that
What your saying is real,
That your lies are the truth.
But guess what?
I am me, always and forever.
I will be me, and no one else.
I will not accept your
Insanities as my own.
If I feel the need to be insane,
I will do so on my own.
If I feel the need to have
"what should be"
Shoved down my throat,
I will ask for it.
I am me.
Here, now, and always.
