Chapter One: Jon Curry

The doorbell ringing was what woke him up. Jon Curry, brown hair messy from sleeping on the couch, shouted sleepily, “I’m coming!” Walking slowly to the front door, he wondered who could be there.

When he finally got there, he opened it up. “Hello?” No one was there. “Great. Someone’s playing Ding Dong Ditch.” He slammed the door and turned around.

“Yah!” he shouted. Standing in front of him was a guy, dressed all in black. “Who…How did you…”

“Ever hear of a game called Dying, Dying, Dead?” The guy asked in a low voice.

“Um…I think Christine mentioned it before…”

“Christine?”

“Yea, Christine Day. She’s my lab partner. She was murdered by Joseph Lee in Yale St. Park. I think it was some kind of poison.”

“You know Joseph Lee?”

“Yea, I think he was in some of my classes.”

The guy smiled evilly. Jon couldn’t see who it was because he had a black ski mask on over his face. “Do you know who I am?”

Jon’s eyes grew wide. “Oh…my…”

Slowly, the guy reached up and took off the ski mask. Jon’s eyes grew bigger by the second. “J-Joseph Lee?”

“I’m back from the dead and I want revenge!” He laughed as he pulled out at knife. “You get the honor of being the first, Jon.”

“What? NO!” Jon thrust his hands in front of himself for protection.

Joseph smiled evilly and raised the knife. “Ding, Dong, DEAD!”
