I lean back just a little more

free falling over the edge

my body feels so boundless

in the air as I drop towards the earth

I hoped that if I could have lead back

just a little more that I could hold up the fantasy

now I say sorry as I fall toward the earth

I wish you could forgive me for what I have done

you could never see past the mask

but I still ask for forgiveness
