I Used To But Now 1/07/07

I used to be a person,
but now I am confused.
I used to be an it,
but now I’m more of a what.
I used to be a giggle,
but now I’m just a smile.
I used to be a baby,
now I’m less mature.
I used to be quick,
now I am more careful.
I used to be pink,
now I’m purple, I think.
I used to be a worm,
now I am a girl.
I used to like tag,
but now I like basketball.
I used to like my older brother’s friend,
but now I half-like two boys
and I wish I didn’t.
I used to not know the Hebrew alphabet,
but now I know the alephbet.
I used to be clueless,
but now I’m trying to figure out just
exactly who I am.
