tears because i
couldn't cry clear
ones anymore

then you offered me
2-ply tissue papers
so with my watercolor
tears, I can paint you
something so new –
wilted scarlet butterflies
on a medium as
unusual as you

but i still doubt if
you really meant it
because underneath
the first ply that says
"smile and be happy,"
is a second ply that
says "bitch!"
