pour the champagne, ladies and gentlemen;

for we have here a guest.

he lurks in your hearts

and chooses you your words

love his name and betrayal his name

(it's a wonder it isnt a woman.)

----------------------------------------

you're drawn in, i can tell.

you're already salivating,

the fanged ones – they always hunger.

you want the pot of gold.

the faster the needle,

the quicker the escape.

you want a plastic happiness,

you want a hollywood ending.

(it goes for free in your delusional paradise.)

----------------------------------------

contain your excitement, you’ll get it

everyone gets what they deserve.
you say you can't wait another minute;

sign you up, you're dying for it.

(it hurts more than a lifetime to pay.)

----------------------------------------

if you insist, my hapless victim

please, your names, birth and death dates.

sign right under this line, in blood.

i guess you’d be screaming for

the one that kills you straightaway.

they all end up that way.

(you wouldn't rather burn forever.)

----------------------------------------

two blackened hearts grasping at

one dream, for

all eternity.

----------------------------------------

it'll spit on your grave once you fall in.

trust me, i did.

----------------------------------------

A/N: i know this really isnt good, but i havent been writing forever so we'll slowly work our way up, yeah? oh and sorry for the hyphens shift+enter, contrary to popular belief, is NOT my friend. we have always been at war with Shift-Enter.
