I am glad that ice is pretty:
the rainbows on the trees
made her crash again, thinking
(thinning)
of blues and blacks and purples
fading to greens in her eyes
skin too cold to register the ice on her fingers
(the window was down in her car)
only seeing the snow-dust fling up into her eyes
that were painted with shadows in the 4:44 pm light
(moonlight; moonbeams)
she was blinded
