A.N. - Alright Sarah I give to you, you're Christmas story.

Joy to the world the lord is found let earth receive her king . . .

Sarah walked past a group of carolers and she smiled. She loved this time of year. The snow flakes covering the tracks of human civilization, Jack Frost making the windows glazed over. But most of all, the best reason for winter is snuggling close to that special someone.

As Sarah continued down the road to her Christmas destination, she thought about all the Christmas’s past. Having Christmas parties at friends’ homes, sharing presents, sneaking kisses u the mistletoe. Truly this Christmas would have to be the best one yet.

The snow lightened up as she neared the blue colored house. Light illuminated from every window and there was warmth surrounding the loving home.

She approached the door decorated with lights, and as expected found it unlocked. Making her way past the cavalry of drooling critters, she maneuvered her way toward the downstairs basement. And like all the other Christmas times before this, there was a ginomas Christmas tree to greet her at the entrance. Slightly laughing at the sight, she entered the room where all her loved ones gathered once a year.

"Hey Sarah!" was the response to her appearance at this Christmas swarway.

Hanging her coat and her bag on the closes chair, she located the sound of her lovers voice. Following it she found her against the back of a giant chair covered by 3 big blankets. She was also surrounded by friends who were laughing and enjoying the Christmas season.

Sarah gazed upon her and couldn't get her heart to settle. She was breath taking in that Christmas sweater that hugged her full "boobies" (((if you want to know this little side story ask me and I’ll tell you LOL))) and brought out the color in her lips. Those lips on which most days you couldn't help but want to ravish them every day.

"Merry Christmas everyone!" Sarah said smiling at them.

"Happy Christmas! HAPPY GOD DAMN IT!" One said determined to get everyone to start saying it.

"Well here's what I say to that!" Sarah said sliding into the small opening on the big chair. "British British British"

While the laughter died down Sarah stroked her loves flowing hair and they curled into each others form for a perfect fit.

"I missed you. Are you having a wonderful Christmas?" Her love asked in a wonderment of curiosity

Sarah smiled and planted a kiss on her delicate forehead. "I am now."

Both girls smiled and turned their attention back to the party at hand. It had gotten out of control a little and was now getting back underway with help from the parents.

Without warning Sarah's side had grown cold and when she realized her love had gotten up and started to sway on the dance floor, she jumped up as well. Trailing after her, their own mix master DJ was throwing in some well popular music to get them in the seasonal spirit. As Manheim Steamroller started to blast from the speakers, they couldn't help but dance crazy, just to act silly once each year.

Sarah watched as the hair flew around her loves face and how appetizing her neck looked. The way Sarah looked at her made her feel invincible, like she could do anything in the world. Sarah watched as her loved moved freely on the dance floor and expressed her growing actions, she wanted so desperately to hold her close and dance to some slow song.

Throwing hidden telepathic waves toward her friend they were unfortunately being ignored. As the music started to die down you could hear everyone chatting away about Christmas plans, and the ever-so-popular present exchange. As well as the sounds of strange creatures coming from the stair-well.

"Stop making those noises you freak!" someone yelled out.

"Hey! You want to fight? I'll make these noises if I DAMN WELL PLEASE!" they yelled back.

Sarah laughed and decided to step in and suggest present giving time. Everyone seemed pleased with that idea and all settled down around the carpet area to exchange gifts.

"Alright. So who would like to start!?"

As they were getting started, Sarah grabbed her loves warm hand and pulled her into the next room.

"What are you doing?" Her love asked wondering yet not disappointed with the new closeness, away from the others.

"I just wanted to exchange gifts away from everyone else." Sarah explained.

She smiled, "Alright." she poked around in her pockets and pulled out a card and a box. "Merry Christmas."

Sarah smiled and opened the card first. If her mother had taught her anything it was; No matter how bad you wanted to open the present first, if there was a card you read it first. Opening the thin white paper, a card with a tiny bear on it all bundled up in snow was smiling at her and was saying ' I can't bear to loose you.'

Sarah smiled at her love and gave her a hug.

"Now open the present.” she whispered.

Sarah quickly tore through the paper like Hurricane Katrina tore through New Orleans. There shinning up at her was a golden locket, one that on it had a L & S entwined with a heart between them. Sarah couldn't help take her eyes from the necklace to her love and then back to the necklace. Thanking her several times wasn't enough to say how much she loved it from the bottom of her soul.

"Sarah just as long as you're happy, I'm happy." She said taking Sarah's hand in hers.

"Alright Hun it's your turn." Sarah said taking out the same size present from her pocket.

Slowly she unwrapped the present and unshed tears came to her eyes. Shinning up at her was a ring that could make anyone jealous over it.

"Oh Sarah . . . it's . . . it's too much!" She exclaimed wondering how much she had to spend for it.

"Nothing is too much for you." Sarah said taking the ring out and placing it onto her finger. "Plus I knew you'd love it."

Sarah watched as a ray of mixed emotions flowed over her loves face, when she saw the ring placed on her finger. They hugged and rejoined the group just in time to see a fight break out over a wicker chair.

As Sarah and her love slid back into the lazy chair, they grew closer as the party dimmed away to only a selected few.

"It's time to sing Happy Birthday to a very special person!" the parents said coming downstairs with a little cake made by a store. (((I'm sorry but you know I couldn't resist)))

"NO WAY!" someone exclaimed next to Sarah.

Sarah smiled at the thoughtfulness and couldn't wait to dig into the butter cream icing.

"Happy Birthday" was sung and candles were blown out, and all the while the true goal was indeed that icing.

"Alright dig in!"

Without even noticing someone had snuck up behind her and put icing on her cheek.

"Hey now!" Sarah exclaimed wanting to know who did it.

"It's not all bad." said the voice next to her and Sarah felt a warm soft squishy thing on her cheek.

"Did you just lick me?" Sarah asked staring in shock.

"Maybe" she replied with a smirk on her face.

Sarah was about to pounce on her when the clock hit midnight and people sighed. It was time for everyone to go home. As people got up, Sarah knew she'd have to once again say farewell to her beloved.

As she stood up Sarah grabbed her hand.

"I don't want you to go. Not yet at least." she pleaded but it was all in vain.

"Baby I have to go you know that. My mother is like a Nazi when it comes to these parties." She said bending down and gave her a kiss on the head. "But I promise to see you no later than New Years."

Sarah got up and hugged her.

"I love you." Sarah said giving a little squeeze.

"I love you too." her love whispered back.

They shared a midnight kiss on Christmas day before Santa had even come to town.

Sarah walked through the snow back toward her home. She was just coming close to where she had passed those carolers singing earlier that night, but they weren't there anymore. They had already moved onto another house.

Sarah remembered the night and all it's joy and clutched her necklace to her heart and let out a whispered breath.

" . . . . repeat the sounding joy."
