A clock could be heard in the background. Tick tock. It was starting to get on the young woman in the room last nerve. She decided to ignore it by taking out a piece of gum. Blowing it out gently, she watched in fascination as it inflated to great proportions before having it popped by an irate looking young man with blue eyes.

"Priscilla...how many times have I asked you not to chew gum in here?"

"About as many times as you told me to not read your'diary'," she smirked triumphantly as he reddened then glared at her.

Ty said dejectedly," You are so insufferable sometimes."

"All the more you love me Ty."

"Do I have much of a choice?"he asked, looking down at her.

Priscilla sat back and pretended to ponder this a while then smiled,"Nope. Not really."

He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose, and went back to writing his Calculus problem.

The two of them were starting to become impatient for the fact that their guest, 'flower boy', had not yet decided to grace them with his presence.

Ty had explained that at least one of them had to stay in order to make sure the young man was taken care of when he awakened. He volunteered immediately for several reason, though only a few he decided to procure to his friend.

"Explain to me why you wanted to stay here again?" brown eyes looked into blue ones bored.

"Priscilla. Stop. If you want to leave, then leave. I'm not holding you to stay here with me..."

She sighed, got up from her upside down position on an armchair, to sit on the coffee table in front of the couch and next to Ty.

"I know. But...I just don't want to leave and then he wakes up and then I just miss the whole thing," Priscilla pleaded with him. She pouted and batted her eyes as if to prove a point.

"You...are truly a wonder. How were you able to blow gum in that position anyway?" he demanded, referring to her previous location.

She shrugged and popped the gum once more," I don't know...I just do. It's habit I guess."

"Well one day you are going to end up swallowing it accidental, and I won't be here to help you if that be the case."

"Ty!!! Stop being so bloody me-" she stop mid-whine to see a stirring from the corner of her eyes."He's waking up!"

Ty made a silencing motion to the girl, and closed his book. They both stared and watched, as the fiery redhead's eyes open in slow motion.

Priscilla gasped as she saw bright lime green eyes, stare back at her. Ty simply became dazed by the immortal beauty he saw in those orbs.

Soon those eyes widened, as the owner, realized he was no longer a flower but a boy. He cleared his throat and rubbed his head cautiously, as if to check to it was on.

"Are..are you alright?" a gentle feminine voice asked the 'flower boy'.

He looked at Priscilla sharply, with narrowed eyes he yelled," Licentia! Facio nullis vulnero ego!"

The two friends stared at each other in confusion before turning back to the angered young man on their couch. "Please...we mean you no harm. But we do not understand you either."

Lime green eyes stared in confusion, before the redhead grabbed his head in anguish very suddenly. He fell to the floor on his knees, yelling to himself in pain,"Poena! Poena!!"

Ty looked at a loss, as did Priscilla. He suddenly realized that the other was in pain, and that he was probably screaming to make it stop.

Red tears were streaming down the 'flower boy's' face. Ty got up from his chair immediately and knelt down beside the other. He wrapped his arms around the screaming figure in a comforting matter that seemed to help the young man calm his screaming to whimpers.

"Subvenio...commondo subvenio...Poena..." the redhead whispered painfully to Ty. He fisted his hands into his shirt tightly, and tried to snuggle closer for warmth while still chanting this statement in a pained whisper and harsh breathing.

Priscilla looked worriedly at them both," What should I do Ty?"

"I don't know Priscilla...I don't know!" Ty snapped at her question

"Well you don't have to shout at me about it!" she narrowed her brown eyes at him for snapping.

The brunet sighed, while gripping the man in his arms more tightly against him,"I'm sorry Priscilla. I shouldn't have shouted."

"Hm...you bloody well shouldn't have is right." she muttered to herself, but stopped when she saw that her friend was showing real concern for this strange creature.

"Maybe you should get the nurse then...or a doctor...he's crying blood for all I know," he stated, watching as his light blue shirt turn light purple and red from the red tears.

"No..."

"Priscilla how can you be so cruel?"he stared at her in shock and disbelief.

"No I mean, no he's not crying blood and look he stopped," she pointed to the silent young man in Ty's arms.

Ty looked down, and his features softened slightly from worry. The other had apparently fallen asleep once more. Face streaked with red, which Priscilla claims is not blood, and calm features.

Priscilla walked up to him, knelt beside Ty,and took out a handkerchief to wipe the stains. She held up the small cloth to the brunet's face and smiled reassuringly," It's not blood. It was just red tears. It's really weird..."

"I know. But him waking up didn't exactly answer any of our questions," Ty ran a weary hand through his hair, while the other held the still young man.

"No you're right. He didn't answer our questions," she said as she watched her best friend, pick up'flower boy' and place him gently on the couch, as if he was a delicate piece of glass.'Maybe to Ty he was...he didn't answer your questions Ty. But I think he may have answered my prayers.'

Priscilla gazed softly as a mother would, watching her son take care of something he loves so much. She gasped silently to herself,' Maybe he's fallen in love. I hope this flower boy is what he needs. Ty needs love... more than what I can give him.'

"Are you okay Priscilla?"Ty asked when he heard her gasp. Blue eyes shining with concern.

She shook her head, smiled softly, and patted his head," Don't you worry your little head over me okay? I just had an empathy is all."

"Is that a good thing?"

She smacked his head playfully, then stuck out her tongue,"Yes! You meany."

Ty rubbed his head, while laughing at her antics. She acted like such a child, which was why he loved her so. The sister he never had.

Priscilla stared as he yawned and giggled," You should go to bed silly!"

"But I have to watch-"

"No ifs, ands, or buts about it mister! You are a good student and I'm not going to let you tarnish that reputation by not sleeping. So go!" she pointed to his bedroom, while he raised an eyebrow.

"But who's going to watch-"

"I will. You know I like sleeping on the floor more anyway," she shrugged and began shoving him in the direction of his bedroom.

Ty took of his glasses, rubbed his eyes, and looked at Priscilla through blurry eyes," Yes mother. But if anything happens-"

"I'll wake you up immediately. I promise," Priscilla clasped her hands in front of her innocently, to give him the image of a bliss young child.

He chuckled once more, walked to her, grabbed her. Ty smiled as she looked at him in confusion. He winked, spun her around, then placed her back on her feet. But not before kissing on top of her head, and running off to his room after he heard a pillow crash into his door.

Priscilla glared at the door, then sighed dramatically. "That man will be the death of me yet...I swear it." She laid down on the floor beside the couch, having pushed the coffee table to the side.

Staring up into the ceiling, she realized that maybe things will change. Priscilla sat up quickly, knelt beside the couch and stared at the flower boy's face."Whoever you are...you don't have to worry about us. We'll take care of you...I promise. Besides...I think Ty might have fallen for you. How far I have yet to realize myself..."

She smiled as the other grinned softly in his sleep. Priscilla pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead and ruffled his redhair with the blue and green tips on it.

The night was still and only the occasional snore from Ty could be heard. Questions still needed their answers and maybe the next morning would bring them.
