Time slowly slinks by

Curling around the corner and lazing about

Like the tide

The girl behind me smells like

Shampoo

Someone else smells like sweet citrus

What else smells like citrus?

I stumble by the poster

This time all are lighted except one

The girl who conserves water

Do I?

I like to think of her as my sweetly ever after

In lime green pants

The hall smells sterile

Like a hospital

It won’t last though

BOOM!!

The silence crashes

A thousand feet flood by

And the rubbing alcohol smell

Is replaced

By a thousand breathing bodies
