What is it that I seek tonight

Is it the snow so soft and light

No it wasn's the snow it was something else something bright

It was something that twinkled just right

Where was the night time sky

Where were the stars I wanted to know

Did they disappear amongst the snow

Did the wind blow them away

Wherever they are are they there to stay

It is daytime now the sun has broken through

The stars will be back tonight it appears i'll no longer be blue
