Chapter 1

Truth or Dare

“Okay, Truth or Dare?” asked Jessica questioning her friend, Niraku. A silence penetrated everyone for a moment, nothing but blank stares on everyone's face. It was summer time and a group of six friends decided to go for a camping trip for the weekend.

They've setup their tents and supplies in one of camp sites in the next town. It was a quiet cool and breezy night and they all decided to play Truth or Dare to entertain themselves with. People in the other camp sites were already in their tents asleep, so it was a perfect time to play the game.

“Dare,” replied Niraku with a lustful grin on his face letting his tongue pierce through his lips to lick them. Jessica grinned and said, “I dare you to make out with Angel.”

Angel blinked her silver eyes to Niraku and gave a small sigh. Now, Angel is very shy and sweet and also very pretty; she was best friends with Aki Kitsune since childhood. She glanced at Aki with her silver-violet eyes as her pale lilac long hair entered her face as the wind pushed it onto her.

Aki ran his hand through his brown-silver shoulder length hair and looked back at Angel and knew that she didn't want to play the game that way. He growled lowly in his throat like a lion stalking its prey. Aki stood up in frustration and glared at everyone except poor Angel.

“Back the hell off will you?” he angerly said, “She doesn't want to play, pick someone else to do the dare just leave Angel the hell alone.”

“Someone wants Angel all to himself, eh?” Niraku questioned smartly with a grin painted on his face. “Hey, don't let us cramp your sex life go ahead and take her to your tent, Aki.”

Angel hid her face in Aki's arms when he pulled her close to him, he wrapped a protective arm around her waist ignoring Niraku's existance.

Jessica scoffed at Niraku's ignorant statement, “Just leave them alone, Nir. We'll stop for the night.”

Niraku, having been told three times to back off finally did and six settled in their tents to sleep. As Aki was outside putting out the warming fire Angel slipped out of her tent to Aki and took a seat next to him resting her cheek on his shoulder.

“Having a good time so far?” she asked.

Aki lifted his eyes into the now burning embers of the leftover flames, “Good time? How can I possibly be having a good time while they go onto you like that? I'm surprised that you're not holding Niraku's baby in your arms.”

Angel looked up at him with her glittering eyes, “Aki, you're too good to me, you know that?”

“That's be cause you're very important to me. No one's ever been by my side as long as you, Angel. You're a very unique person and kind hearted, too.” He said with honesty and glanced at Angel's small tent, “Your tent looks too small for you, how about you stay with me in my tent for tonight?” he said with a smile.

Angel smiled as she lifted her gaze towards his, “I'd love too, Aki.” Together they both went into Aki's tent for the night.
