Unfit to Live

A pinch-

it hurts.

She grips tighter,

nails digging,

bare feet on

slippery tiles;

cracked mirrors,

and closed doors.

Naked.

(hideous)

The belly of the beast,

bigger than

the beast itself.

Not thunder things, but

a thunder storm;

the Nile floods

past Vesuvius on her cheek.

A scream,

and a lift-

smash.

Crystal fireworks explode-

mirror splattered red,

a glass littered floor.

Her hand bloodied,

contorted,

so fitting for a body,

so unfit to live.
