Haunting

Death burns bright across the sky

A falling star, a withering flower.

She'll never get to you, my love

Not even in your darkest hour.

I cast a spell to make you stay

Make you live, make you pay.

Now, never shall I reach sweet Heaven.

To save your worthless life,

I damned myself to walk this lonely world.

But you did not see me even

When I was alive.

Oh, my love, my only one,

The china is breaking, the books are falling

And in your ear my voice is calling,

'Do you see me now?'
