Time Is Coming Fast Now

The night’s rolling in,
The moon is gracing the stars.
Tonight we’ve come out,
Of the lonely shells we are.

You bring about the strange in me,
You’ve given me the edge.
We are amongst the ravenous animals,
Tonight.

You can bring me to the transcending glories,
And let me feast on the love I’ve never known.
Show me the love I’ve never known.
Be the love I’ve never known.
Bring me to the glories, now.

I can follow like an apostle,
I can embrace this new way of living.
Just promise everything will be alright.
Promise you will treat me right.

Time is coming fast now,
And I’ll be ready this time around,
If you hold me tight.

A/N: The theme of this was a person who is in a bad way and meets a stranger that changes him (for better or worse?) and now he/she feels that that can face the rest of their lives in a better way now. This is my first attempt at poetry that I like so please take the time to review. Cheers!
