The Love He Felt
By,
Rachel Hansen
Only one part of this poem actually happened, the chorus, so if it sucks, I blame it on the fact that I’ve never experienced this…lol
With the note tucked away
Inside of my hand
I hurried away
So I couldn’t display
The tears and pain, left only with me
I tried to hate you
But I forgot when I found your letter
You said I love you, that’ll never change
You lied
(Chorus)
Three little words you said
Lost in my head (X2)
Nothing will change, I’ll show you
It’s true
The love I feel today
It’s been a month now
With no more smiles
To make my day worthwhile
All I have is faded memories
And thoughts of yesterday
I prey that I’ll be ok
But without you here
I close my eyes
And hope to see the end
(Chorus)
Without you here
I close my eyes
And hope to see the end
