Haunted

Why are you haunting me?

Stalking my dreams as you do,

As if you’ve seen me, know me, and love me…

Your enticing eyes burn themselves within my memory,

But, as hard as I try, they remain beyond my sight.

That smell of jasmine lingers before me,

Teasing me, arousing me, keeping me from sleep.

Skin as soft as silk, white like porcelain,

The lingering touches, that lingering need.

That smile, god that smile…

The shy innocence that allures and seduces.

What I wouldn’t give to know,

To discover, that you are real beyond my dreams.

Beyond those touches, those sighs, those looks,

I need to know you’re real.
