Lies Already Spoken

How would I know that you're not lying?
I can't seem to find the truth in words
Already spoken by others unloyal to me
And it crushes me, really, just how stupid
I can be

So watch it, 'cause I'm not just any fool
I'm the one that always needs that one thing
To lean on; and that might be dangerous on it's own

To think my shameless fighting might be worth
My own lifetime of waiting and watching for stars
That will never shine on their own

Will you once realize your regrets about time wasted?
Or think it's stupid?
Or realize that there is nothing being offered?

I wished you would think about yourself
some more
And even if I was ever allowed something so forbidden to me
Would you finally realized the difference
between something good
and something better?

These are the thoughts I think when I think of the words
Already spoken by others
That almost don't mean much to me anymore
You might even recognized these words by lies

And yet I find words that are actually
different to my understanding
They seem like the words I may have found
As truthful in a sense
For the reason that you might be listening
And that this might mean something to me

But again... this just might be a lie not yet been spoken
