Mechanical beep-beep-beep
pops membranes and blood bubbles
draining from your ears
falling like macabre earrings
Run hands over my body
and the bones twist
bending like the bugs bunny
I had when I was a child
Lying in my bed
bent at impossible angles
Heartbeat sounds like a gunshot
every one echoes a sudden
death bang-bang-bang

Shoot me up with your crystals
or your sparkling angel dust
Sliding needles into broken veins
pushing hard to create the
perfect rush
mixing with my blood
until it hits the heart
and slowing to the
deep bass of the Indian
drums boom-boom-boom

Keeping with the onomatopoeias
there is a fizz-pow-smack
and the frighteningly silent
flash that spreads itself
across the blackness
inside my eyes

Now-

Breathe in deep and
brace for the
Thunder…
