The first song on our first album, this song was written back when I first became interested in screamer bands such as Kittie and Jack Off Jill. It has no particular dedication, although I am certain some of us can relate to the lyrics. It unfortunately had the similarity to a Flyleaf song I heard later. However, Flyleaf’s Breathe Today did not appear until at least 2005. This song was written in 2003.
