night means doubt and

bright daylight hungers

in through cracks in the wall

- your wall, your vulnerability

truly, you look forward into

the past but Time just

drives you way ahead of yourself

and you forget if

this was all illusion

or an voluntary reality -

or even if it matters, at all.

face the blame, you people

who took your chance and left

those unchallenged for dead, because

it's true, nature picks her best

and culls her failings because

nothing's perfect

nothing's perfect

but everyone wants one

your reality leaks from

cracks in your walls and

you thought you'd forgot

but it's true,

you’d always stay the same

everyone wants change but

you're just you,

not what you want to be.

A/N: this is actually a response to randompoetry's Pipe Dream, so props to him or her :D thanks for the inspiration!
