Guns raining from the heavens,
.44 Caliber pistols and AK- 47’s.
The guns hit hard,
The bullets hit harder.
Guns aren’t bad,
Death is dished not by a bullet,
But rather by the hand of ignorance.
Ignorance armed with the mind,
Any mind, any mind it finds,
Is the deadliest weapon.
Yet, intellect and the mind too,
Are a powerful weapon,
Hardly deadly, more so saintly,
Anyone can fire a gun,
None can dodge the bullet,
Only he who see’s the shot fired,
Has what he has desired.
To see, to witness death,
To take his next breath,
Knowing that his skin,
Be unpunctuated, yet thin.
He lives, to breed his kin.
Let his blood thicken
Let his life fulfill,
Write his will.
And lay buried deep,
And while his family weeps,
Another shot is fired.
