Just a kid

I’m just a normal kid who needs some rest

But it seems everybody else must contest.

When I slip in school they give me medicine

Which never works, just gives me more trouble and

Now I’m bound by their high expectations

Now I’m a tool of authorities manipulations.

Go to college, get a house, get a job

Go make friends, get a wife, have children.

Be successful just like your dad

Maybe you’ll have a house just like his.

But I can’t do these things yet

Because I’m just a kid!
