Foot Toad

This is my wacky poem that I wrote, it's kinda weird and might seem offensive to people. Just for the record: when I said live in stink, I meant the foot. It's a poem about equality, toadequality, if you will.

Foot Toad

I am a foot toad, just like you

I live on a foot, just like you, in the stink

I live in misery and disgrace

You are no better than I

But you scorn me

Why?

We are the same

In flesh, in bone, in meat and blood

But you were born on this foot and I came from another

I did not choose this foot, I love this foot, but I did not choose it

Every foot stinks, one way or another, for many different reasons

This one is no different, but it is my home too, and I love it here

Sometimes I feel so rejected I wish I were back in my old foot

I am torn, torn between two feet

One with acceptance and no future

And one of condemnation and opportunities

I am the Foot Toad
