Introduction

In the near future, two different species evolved from the human race. One has been give the nickname “nightwalkers” or the slang for them is cave-dwellers. They were called nightwalkers because they had enhanced night vision and were very stealthy. By the humans standard they are very primitive and only use what they can find and manipulate it for their benefit.

At first they were feared because of their numbers, but then the extermination order went out. The authorities viewed them as game, as trophies. The extermination became a bore for the species the government created to counter them. These creatures were nicknamed brutes. The brutes, at first, were created to counteract the nightwalkers because the humans were starting to realize they could not defeat them on their own.

The nightwalkers were more associated with being ninja-like and relying mostly on hand to hand combat and weapons assisting them in that such as brooms, mops, books, and other poor weapons. Eventually the nightwalkers started making or finding various knives and swords that could give them an advantage in close combat. The brutes were becoming more laid back because they realized their job was easy and started fighting many of the nightwalkers at once. It took the humans a long time to realize the nightwalkers could see better at night then they could in the day. They also had enhanced hearing.

The brutes were given advanced weapons and tools to help them fight this new race of humans. They would rely on pure power and instinct. Brutes were known for their force, not their strategies. Because of this brutes were very noisy and would wander off alone and get captured by the nightwalkers.

Because of how little they knew about the nightwalkers, they started trying to capture them. The ones that they did capture they cloned and performed various tests to find out how they could make weapons to make them slower and more human. These attempts were pointless and the entertainment industry decided they should make them fight. They could have many humans challenge them in a virtual arena.

It did not take long for the nightwalkers to realize their strengths and weaknesses and grow stronger, faster, and smarter than they were before. They were highly adaptable in the world. The nightwalkers had the symptoms of albinos, but the consequence of them being exposed to sunlight for a long time is temporary paralysis. After years of this horrible treatment, the free nightwalkers decided to strike back and finish all of the brutes once and for all.
