Note how she blends into the wall.

She is seen, but not seen.

Heard, but only as much as one would hear a light breeze.

People run into her, not realizing her presence until too late.

Others presume that her feelings do not matter.

They could not be more wrong.

-

She gets to class early everyday.

Before anyone else shows, she inspects his desk.

The popular kids like to booby-trap it, so she finds every trick and removes it.

Class begins, and they wonder why none of the pranks worked.

They never think to consider the quiet girl.

But sadly, neither does he.

-

He doesn’t realize the favors she does for him.

He doesn’t realize her eyes watching him.

He doesn’t realize how much she helps him daily.

Nor does he realize the tempest roaring inside her.

The unspoken emotions that are tearing her apart.

The strain that is put on her each day.

Nor does he realize that the Wallflower, his little Guardian Angel, may not live much longer.
