And then he yelled, “I hate you, baby,
And I can’t stand to see your sad and vacant face
For another second. This doesn’t fit.
We’re a mess. We can’t be fixed.”

And I apologize for my apparent lack of grace.
I think that tomorrow I will think of you and sigh,
But for now I will take you like an Aspirin,
And swallow you down like a glass of self-destruction.
