That light

at the end of the tunnel,

Why is it just out of reach?

Reaching out,

Trying to connect,

making it a reality.

Turning around,

churning, mixing,

stretching to the limits.

Uneasiness, mounting,

yet growing

is necessary,

biding the time

in stillness.

Looking within,

Looking without,

Keeping head

above water.

Trying to comfort,

Faith, hope and charity,

Depending on

Those; loved.

That light,

So elusive,

But part of each day,

Has been within reach,

All the time.
