I hate to admit

It's true what they say, you can lose it all in a day.

You can't change fate, but I'll try.

When you wake up one day and want to remain asleep.

It's all to much even for me!

When you look around and everything is gone.

You ask yourself, "why me?"

You cry to things that seem so bad.

Later you know it's all a bunch of crap.

You seem so tiered of it all.

So you get up, put on that fake smile.

Until you think it's not just me.

The fake turns real, as you feel safe.

It's true what they say, everyone is equal.
