A tear, a kiss, a laugh, a smile

That was me a little while ago

I used to be in that place

I guess I fell behind

A wave, some pity, black tears, and shame

I guess I got pushed to second place again

I know I’ve lost the game

I know this may not affect you

I wish I could say the same

All I can think though is that I’ve come in second again.
