Sorry about the slight wait... My mom's computer that had this family kinda didn't work for a while so I couldn't do anything until my dad came to fix it. And so, here I am, on my dad's laptop, posting this. Enjoy this... I'm depriving myself of a movie for your guys... And PLEASE review... I want your input on my story.

Chapter 4

The couples danced in front of my wide eyes. I looked down at my left hand, and saw Tonayke’s hand holding it lightly. Looking up into his eyes, I saw them staring straight ahead. Was he holding my hand just for show, or did he really have feelings for me? Well, he obviously does have feelings for me since I am his soul mate.

I looked away just as his head turned to face me. I heard him sigh as he stood and looked down at me. He pulled my hand up and smiled at me lightly.

“Would you care to dance with me?” His soft voice reached my ears. I looked over at Arayka who only nodded at me with a small glint in her eyes. Looking back at Tonayke’s form which stilled loomed over me, I smiled and nodded, standing up slowly to stand next to him.

“I’m warning you, I can’t dance well.” I said shyly, looking down at the steps as we headed to the dance floor.

“Just follow my lead.” As soon as he answered, we were twirling around the floor, my body encased by his arms.

I laid my head down on his shoulder, the music and the dance steps taking me away to another world. Tonayke’s sweet breath wafted against my face lightly. I was in a place close to heaven…cloud nine.

Tonayke’s hands travelled down my back and rested just on top of my buttocks. I took me head off of his shoulders and looked up at him, smiling lightly. He kissed my forehead lightly, earning a small blush from me.

“Are you enjoying yourself, Anastasia?” He asked softly against my ear.

“Yes I am…” I answered, my hands on his chest.

I looked up at him and smiled.

His eyes captivated me…I couldn’t look away. His green emerald eyes kept me mesmerized. I couldn’t look away if my life depended on it. One of his fingers trailed under my chin, lighting a trail on its passage. He bent his head slowly towards mine as I closed my eyes. Just as I thought his lips would press against mine, I felt him gently kiss my forehead again and break away from our embrace. Taking my hand, Tonayke led me back to the thrones where Arayka sat, amused.

Once I had been seated, I passed my hand over my face, waking my self up from that encounter with Tonayke.

“Enjoyed yourself?” She whispered, leaning towards me.

“Yeah…” I blushed lightly and looked back on the dance floor where every one kept dancing, as if they never saw anything.

“They know not to see what they are not supposed to see. That mean’s that whatever you do in this castle, it will remain secret.”

I nodded to respond before the music stopped slowly.

“Great! Diner time!” Arayka stood and looked over at Tonayke and nodded before she went out of the ballroom before the guests.

I looked over at Tonayke who had stood. Sensing my unease, he looked down at me and smiled reassuringly.

“I will be taking you back to your room.” Tonayke said, extending his hand. I took slowly and stood.

“Why?” I asked silently, following him as he led me away from the great ballroom.

“When it is diner time for us, it is not a pretty sight.” And he intended to say no more.

I respected his silence for the rest of our trip to my bedroom. He pulled the door open and let get inside first. He smiled at me and cupped my cheek.

“There is a bowl of food over there and once you are down, try and get some rest…Do not come out during the night and I will place a spell on your door to make sure no one bothers you.” He said quietly, kissing me lightly on the lips.

The kiss lasted but a few seconds, but it had taken my breath away. Before I knew it, Tonayke had gone and I had nothing to do but sit on my bed and eat on my bed.

…………………………………

I walked out of the washroom, a towel in my hair and another wrapped around my waist. I headed straight towards the closet, not even glancing around the room. I walked in and grabbed the first pair of pyjama’s that was under my hand. As soon as I was out of the closet, I saw a figure seated on my bed.

I screamed slightly, clutching the towel around me tighter. My hand searched around for the nearest object that I could throw easily. The first thing that came under my hand, was a lamp. I unplugged it quickly and brandished it towards the form. The form chuckled and the light switched on. Tonayke sat on my bed, laughing. Glaring at him, I put the lamp back on the table and headed towards the washroom.

“If you would excuse me…” I started. “I’m going to put some decent clothes on.” With that said, I closed the door and changed hurriedly.

I walked out wearing a baggy pair of black sweat pants and a black tank top. Still glaring at Tonayke, I walked over to the bed he had vacated and slipped under the covers.

“Are you still mad at me?” He asked quietly. Tonayke had moved closer to me and was now stretched across the bed next to me.

“I have no reason to be.” I rolled my eyes, answering. I rolled over so that my back was facing him.

I closed my eyes, intent on falling asleep though I quite knew that it wouldn’t happen if he stayed in close proximity. His arm wrapped itself around my waist, pulling me against his chest. For some odd reason, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

………………………………………….

“I told you not to bug her at night!” A female voice broke through my dreams, dragging me out of the sleep I had gratefully need.

“It’s not my fault! I couldn’t help myself!” A man’s voice said.

“Shut up!” I groaned, placing a pillow over my head.

“See! You’ve woken her!” Footsteps headed my way then I felt the bed shift as someone sat down. “Anastasia?”

“What?” I snapped. I was obviously not a morning person.

“You have to get up…it’s past noon.” A hand took the pillow off of my head, letting the light filter through.

“What for?”

“You are meeting people today.”

Oh great… Are you up for this?

Hell no.

It’s alright, I’ll be here for you.

I rolled over and growled at Arayka who was of course the one who had woken me.

“Get up!” I felt a pair of hands rip away the blankets that covered my body and another pair grab my wrists and drag me into the washroom.

Arayka dressed me and didn’t let me voice my opinion of anything that she did to me. I wore a blood red Chinese type top and leather pants that showed off my ass. As for my hair, she let it down freely and applied only eyeliner as makeup.

“You are now ready to meet the Family!”
