I came in crying not knowing what to do. I hid behind a bookshelf like a sanctuary. I heard him come in, saying hi. I thought he was supposed to be somewhere else. It looked like he was looking for me, I stopped crying for a minute. Then remembering why I was in the first place, I continued. He looked down the row of computers where i usually was, and then he saw me. He rushed over. "What's wrong?" he asked. I shook my head. I didn't want to talk, not now. He looked me begging silently to tell him. "My friend...my friend...she doesn't want...want to be...be my friend anymore," I choked out, tears streaming rapidly down my face. He hugged me. I rested my head on his shoulders, still crying. "It's gonna be okay." I said nothing only because I couldn't or else I would protest. He pulled my head up so it was level with his. He looked into my eyes, I averted his. I tried to back down gently, so I could rest my head again, but he wouldn't let me. Finally I looked into his eyes. We gazed into each others eyes. "Look I really care about you. Really I do," he said. I tried to smile but I couldn't. He brought my face close to his, so he could see the tears on my eyelashes, and kisses me tenderly. "How could you!? Just when I started to believe..." his girlfriend shouted as I backed away. She stood there lost for words and stared at the image. He didn't move, he just simply said, "I love her."
