Rejection

I told you, I wouldn't get hurt
from whatever your answer was,
but I am.

I have tears falling down my cheeks
telling myself, it is ok
that you rejected me
even though I still like you so much.

Why did I have to take your rejection
so hard where I have tears
streaming down my face?

I hate how I liked you so much,
but I ended up getting hurt from you
because of that.

Was it because you led me on to
thinking that you liked me a lot too?

No, I was the stupid one
for falling for you.

Now, I have to get over you
where I know I will shed many tears
because of you and your rejection.

Ok...I wrote this poem after I got rejected by the guy I like who likes me, but I have no idea what is going on. I cried the next day because of him, but whatever he's not worth it anymore. I hope you guys enjoy this poem and I know some girls/guys can relate to this. Also, I will try to update the Runaway Princess as fast as I can. I've been really busy with school work.
